Let's Talk Business + Mini Fate

Hello everybody,
I learned about supply, demand, quantity, profit, selling price, cost price and a whloe bunch of other things about selling and making money, We also each researched and prepared a report on anyone who started a very sucessful business, I did my research on Bill Gates. We also had a Mini Fate, our team ( Me, Nikkita, Nayantara) was very sucessful in selling the jewlery we made from beads, We were all sold out!! The mini fate was a lot of fun we raised a lot of money! We sold our necklaces for
Rs. 30 each, our earrings for Rs. 25, our combo sets (necklace + bracelet) (necklace + earring) for Rs. 55, our tattoo painting for Rs. 20 for each picture. Of course the price wet up as the people were more demanding, and when a lot of people didn't have much more money left we sold all of it for cheaper so we wouldn't have to carry it back.
I think we raised a lot of money that day.

My mini business

On thursday 6th december, there was a mini fete at Indus and since grade 5 had been learning about it we got in to groups to make things to sell. In my group there was a border called Nayantara, a day scholer called Emily and me, we were making jewellry to sell. On the first day we made a poster, Emily did the drawing, Nayantara did the writing and I did the outlining and colouring. When we had finished with the poster it looked really nice and colourful. We decided to have tatoos as well incase we ran out of jewellry. Emily bought beads and string, I bought beads and tatoos and Nayantara bought a box to keep the money in. On the second day we made the jewellry, first it was just my team then my teacher started to make some then some people in my class joined in then all of my class joined in then some people in 5B joined in we made loads of jewellry to sell and my teacher so proud or our group and said that we would sell well. When the day came I was really nervous because what if no one bought anything what would happen. When people came into the hall we sold them all quite fast so we just did tatoos after that, soon we shut down the store since no one was coming for tatoos even after we lowered the price to 5 R.s so instead we just bought things for ourselves.

Sadako's Story and the PEACE DAY by Nicolas HILICO

Summary

. A very brave girl

. My opinion for Sadako

. For the peace in the world

. The peace day

Sadako was a very brave girl:

When Sadako was two years old one atom bomb came in Hiroshima. When she grew she was a very athletic girl. At eleven years old she fell down, Sadako’s friends brought her to hospital.
The doctor said she has a Leukemia “ The nuclear bomb” disease.
Sadako’s best friend told her of an old Japanese legend:
Make a thousand paper cranes would be granted a wish.
She started of work on paper cranes and competed over 1000 before dying on October 25, 1955 at the age of twelve

My opinion about the story:

For me, this story is very sad but it is very interesting because this girl is very famous in Japan, It is good for know the history of this pays and for know a great story of Japan.

For the peace in the world:

Don’t fight is good for the peace in the world because the war is not a good idea. For the peace in the world, I think the best idea for
every president is for sign on a paper THE PEACE.

The peace day:

The 21th of September is the peace day.
It’s an International Day of Peace which provides an opportunity for individuals, organizations and nations to create practical acts of Peace at the same date.
People should use the International Day of Peace annually to highlight the Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World, 2001 to 2010.

It’s a United Nations Resolution in 1981 and the International Day of Peace was first celebrated September 1982.
